Courtesy of Slashdot, I ran across a humorous (if nerdy) article, "The Thirteen Greatest Error Messages of All Time" on Technologizer. The article features messages such as "sad mac" and "the red screen of death." (Apparently, Vista error messages were a bit bloody in appearance, which seems appropriate.) Their number one greatest error message of all time is--you guessed it-- the infamous "blue screen of death." Technologizer provides humorous pictures and videos of unfortunate blue screen appearances. However, I must agree with Slashdot poster, samzenpus, who points out an obviously important omission: "I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that," which is clearly the greatest error message of all time.
