reasons why I am in a bad mood and think spring break should be extended

- The Yankee-Devil Rays debacle. Here's hoping the Devil Rays get hit by a train made out of fire and MLB stops handing out fines and suspensions like candy. And if you have no idea what I'm talking about, you can read about the hooplah that has resulted in suspensions for Melky Cabrera and Shelley Duncan as well as a nice fine for Joe Girardi (great way to start his tenure as manager. Thanks a lot, MLB) here at Yankees.com. Train-made-out-of-fire. Seriously.
- I got glutened on my trip to Indy
- Of course, I get sick no matter what I eat anymore and I don't know why, which means lots of GI discomfort with no idea how to prevent it. This also means that I am probably allergic or intolerant to some other food group and will be starting and elimination diet soon. Or I need to have my gall bladder removed. Good times.
- The moths have returned and I can't find out where they're coming from.
- My house is messy, overcrowded with clutter and, in general, a pain in my ass
- My finances are starting to resemble a natural disaster.
- I pulled a muscle in my back.
- Spring Break is almost over and as per usual I have gotten precious little done. Oh, how we have such grand plans to "catch up" and "get ahead," to complete those projects that we've postponed until this week where everything is possible. You'd think that by now I would have given up that fantasy (perhaps more appropriately-that delusion). But no. And now I sit here-- heating pad on my back, mac on my lap--and fret about the upcoming weeks during which I will be preparing for CCCCs, working on my computers and rhetoric project, and undergoing more medical tests. It's days like these (and momma never said there'd be) that make me want to reassess my career plans and get the hell out of Lafayette. Wow, this is an unbelievably whiny and personal post. Time to buck up and get some work done.
